Had an accident on Easter Sunday, was immediately admitted to the emergency clinic. No waiting time! Thanks to his diagnosis and correct treatment I was restored 100% within 6 weeks. Dr. Heidl is a very competent doctor who looks beyond his immediate field. He not only considered the acute complaints but, based on a full blood count, identified possible connections with other illnesses even though these are not strictly within his orthopedics specialty. Chapeau! Dr. Heidl referred me to a specialist in Münster with a very serious suspected diagnosis, who was equally impressed by the foresight, as it is such a rare disease. The specialist immediately referred me to a hospital (Münster) where this suspected diagnosis is indeed a focus. Thanks to Mr. Dr. Heidl's competence and foresight, this rare disease will be considered in further investigations. I can highly recommend this doctor. He takes his time, listens, addresses matters openly and honestly, and informs himself comprehensively. Dr. Heidl has my absolute trust. Thank you, Dr. Heidl!

Despite a full practice, Dr. Heidl took ample time, explained his assessments vividly, addressed problems directly and — in addition to his own examinations and treatment approaches — helped in finding further specialists. Dr. Heidl remained calm and factual, responded to relatives' questions, helped to contextualize (sometimes questionable) preliminary examinations and pre-diagnoses from third parties without claiming his own assessment to be indisputably correct and final, and gave recommendations for further steps without being patronizing or exerting pressure.

Compared with appointments with several other orthopedists (in the Münsterland), which in my experience were often marked by time pressure, superficiality and a lack of willingness to examine and continue treatment, the consultation with Dr. Heidl was informative, problem-oriented and (at least in part) goal-oriented and all in all simply more helpful.

After about 3 years of persistent knee pain, I called Dr. Heidl on my mother's recommendation, got an appointment quickly and finally a real diagnosis was made. After two more surgeries the doctor himself did not want there to be a third. So I decided on ACP therapy. I have a severe needle phobia and had imagined many horrors, only to find out in the end that it wasn't that bad — rather quick and effective.

He relieved my knee complaints with cortisone and hyaluronic injections. I was initially hesitant, but now I'm glad I did it. Dr. Heidl can sometimes come across as very "short and curt" at first. When it matters, he takes time and is very competent. With therapy suggestions you never get the feeling that something is being "pushed on you." The organization by his staff is friendly, and waiting times are never longer than necessary.

I only wanted insoles for my running shoes, but I got much more... Dr. Heidl was consulted because of a misalignment of my right foot and he asked about my running intentions... I knew I was overweight and had made it through the winter, but...

I was very surprised about my weight (over 130!!!) and Dr. Heidl gave me tips on nutrition, running and calorie counting (app) and a lot of other useful tips to read and think about. The counseling was great and so were the insoles. With some discipline and healthy exercise and not a single day of feeling hungry, I have already lost 18 kilos since January... If you want something, you can achieve a lot.

I want to thank him here for the subtle "kick in the...". The doctor and his team are fun to work with, provided you join in.

I have pulled a colleague and my wife into the orbit and that is even more motivation... Even the snoring is gone... and that is wonderful for both of us.

I can only say thank you and will keep at it. I don't want to disappoint the doc and above all myself...

Even running is easier for me... up to 12.5 km is possible and without pain, unlike before, and I can even chat while doing it...

I've had lower back pain for about 3 years and have been to many doctors. I received help at the practice of Dr. Heidel Dr. Daubenspeck. I underwent a facet infiltration. Here, using an X-ray device, a syringe is placed directly at the spinal facets.

Don't worry, the treatment really doesn't hurt, it just sounds scary. Immediately after the first treatment I felt a significant improvement. In total I received three injections (1 injection per week) and ---------what can I tell you. I am so happy -------- the back pain is gone.

I have spondylarthrosis of the lumbar spine. The pain radiated from the lower back through the buttock into the legs and feet. Since January I tried to control the pain with painkillers and cortisone drips. Unfortunately the symptoms kept getting worse. Dr. Heidl then recommended PRT injections (3 x 2 injections at weekly intervals). I was very afraid of these injections and therefore kept trying painkillers first. Eventually the pain became so severe that I decided on the injections. These are really tolerable and have already helped a lot. Today I am receiving the last 2 injections. I really should have done this earlier.

Dr. Heidl is highly competent professionally, friendly, and he takes time for his patients. He listens well, takes his patients' statements and concerns seriously, and examines thoroughly and compassionately. If a clear and definite diagnosis cannot be made immediately, he proposes alternative diagnostic measures (e.g. CT, MRI or other imaging procedures). At the slightest doubt Dr. Heidl never rushes to a conclusion but also considers other possible causes when determining the diagnosis.
In manual examinations and medical procedures (e.g. lumbar injections) Dr. Heidl demonstrates great skill and medical/therapeutic experience.

He explains very well and understandably and, despite all objectivity, shows his humor and human qualities at appropriate moments. One fascinating aspect is his extraordinary ability to concentrate. It allows him to simultaneously listen well, respond and, almost at the same time, type a detailed medical report "in no time" into the computer.
